Defeat the Attack on America's Patent System

HR 1429 empowers multi-national corporations & foreign competitors at the expense of American Inventors and the prosperity of our country

Call on members of Congress to oppose HR 1249, the so-called "America Invents Act" bill.

This legislation is unconstitutional.  In the name of harmonizing our patent system with international standards, we drastically weaken the legal protections offered by our own patent system.  This bill will permit multi-national corporations and foreign governments to steal the creative genius of American inventors. Chinese and other tech thieves will use our innovation to transfer American jobs overseas and destroy our industrial base.

Call on our members of Congress NOW to stop this dramatic ripoff of American inventors and this attack on our country’s prosperity.

I agree Steven M. from Newtown, CT "The bill will in no way improve American competitiveness or increase jobs in the US. In fact it will have the opposite effect, allowing large companies to increase their outsourcing of jobs, while killing any small company that dares to try to build a business based on a patent"

What ever happened to ethics in government? HR 1249 is so obviously unfair & unethical that it diminishes my opinion of Congress just to know it has made it this far in the process of possibly becoming U.S. law. Do NOT let it go any farther.

No need to HARMonize our patent system. Congress needs to get to the important critical problems facing the country instead of wasting time on this kind of trash!

America is a land of dreams, a land where you can do anything you put your mind to. We are told that as long as we do our best we can accomplish great things. When China is allowed to view our patents before our inventions are protected how is that beneficial to our great nation? Our freedoms? And in some cases our safety? American ingenuity needs to be protected and cherished, please defeat the attack on America's patents. Protect the American dream of being the best that we can be.
